“Just live in this 24”. Basically, don’t worry about tomorrow just live in this present moment. There’s a scripture in the New Testament of the Bible that says the same thing: “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble”(Matthew 6:34). It’s amazing how much we rob ourselves of the gift of the present moment to obsess and stress over something that rarely ever happens. Actually, I need to personalize that statement a bit more because that is something I’m guilty of doing. Truth be told, most of the things I worry about rarely come to pass. I can’t tell  you how many times I’ve felt an overwhelming sense of regret after the realization that I worked myself into a frenzy over something I conjured up in my mind. The older I get the more I’m reminded that time waits for no man; so, why am I wasting so much of it? As the Tennessee Lady Volunteers Head Coach Pat Summit says, “It is what it is, but it will become what you make it.” Every day we are given the opportunity to make the most of the 24 hours we’ve been granted, which is why I always encourage my Facebook friends to “CREATE a GREAT Day”. Ultimately, we have the power to create whatever experience we desire. It doesn’t matter what we may be going through with our health, our finances, or our relationships. Every day we have a choice about how we want to respond to our circumstances. So, let’s make the best of the 24 we’re in right now and CREATE a GREAT Day!]]>
